We're looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to help us design, create, extend, and maintain the core of our client's connected vehicle software platform as they expand past current offerings in services related to safety, security and convenience in order to take our business to the next level.

What you'll be doing?

Develop functionality for an AWSbased microservices architecture
Help architect the overall system
Help troubleshoot issues at the microservice and/or integration level

What do we expect?

Significant experience with Java with a focus on cloudbased backend development
JUnit, Mockito, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Experience with microservice implementation in AWS

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Scala, especially in the context of backend development
The ability to lead a small team of developers and mentor on engineering best practices
