DANIEL AUGUSTO ROBLES TINOCO

I am a bachelor in Geological Engineer at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). I consider myself a very dedicated and responsible person, willing to make every effort to reach new horizons that allow me to develop my greatest potential both personally and profesionally.

This mentality has contributed to achieve important goals in my life such as belonging to a group of outstanding students at the university, academic scholarships, internships, internships, being an academic instructor, invitations as a representative of my specialty, publications in magazines, etc.

I am seeking to acquire more knowledge in Geological Modeling and Economic Geology, in order to apply them in the optimization of processes in a mining company. Moreover, completing a master's and doctorate degree related to those geological fields abroad Peru, to complement the experience with theorical knowledge in ore deposits. 

I prefer to consider a challenge as a test to overcome rather than as an obstacle, and I believe that it is up to one to make the change, not to wait for it to appear.

I've been working as a Geology Trainee for almost 1 year in Minera Chinalco Peru (my contract will finish this month, june 2024), in different areas such as: Sampling, Mine Geology, Ore Control and Geological Modelling. I can say that I've been doing successfully my duties, learning different aspects of the Geological work done in the mine beginning with the control of the samples analysis (specially in a very variable ore deposit as Toromocho is) until the data interpretation for short, medium and long term mining plans which I could evidence how different mining areas such as Planning, Drilling and Blasting, and Dispatch used and analysed them for the daily mine operation. 

Furthermore, I had the opportunity to support the work done on the Mineral Resources Estimation of the Toromocho Mine 2024, for almost 4 months in which I could contribute in data treatment, definition/validation of the geological domains, EDA analysis and validation of the estimation results. 

I had the opportunity to study Geology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú , since 2017 until 2023 (march). I can say that I was a very dedicated student achieving great scores, published works, workshops, among others. Moreover, I had the opportunity to been in a schollarship in Germany (Bonn University) for 8 months (august 2021- march 2022), having the chance foir taking not only bachellor courses but also master's ones.
