    The Opportunity:

    The System Administrator is responsible for ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance of Qualifacts's IT infrastructure. Responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of critical systems, servers, and networks, dedicated to preserving the integrity of our technology ecosystem. Implementing best practices, proactively addressing issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Contributes to a seamless digital environment that empowers teams to excel in their respective roles.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including servers and storage devices.
  • Implement and help to manage robust cybersecurity measures, such as certificates, encryption protocols, to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
  • Coordinate and apply regular software updates, patches, and security fixes to keep systems current and secure.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system performance, and functionality, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune configurations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure rapid system restoration in case of outages or data loss.
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement new technologies and solutions that align with business goals and enhance IT capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their technical needs, provide support, and ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Monitor system usage trends and plan for future capacity needs, ensuring scalability to accommodate organizational growth.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of similar experience required.
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting operating systems, Windows Server, Linux distributions, and DB MSQL.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity in scripting languages (PowerShell) for automating tasks and improving efficiency.
  • Experience with system monitoring tools to track system performance, identify issues, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Fluent English.
