is a Peruvian lapidary (stone cutting) company that has its own crystal mining operation, produces handicrafts, home décor and jewelry, made from Peruvian gemstones and decor stones.
We are exporting and wholesaling our products to 5 continents.About the job opening
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven person to reinforce our international wholesale sales.
The sales assistant is going to work in a number of fields:
Sales prospecting:
Identifying potential customers on a global scale by researching the internet and social networks, collecting contact and business information about the identified businesses.
Develop a database of likely customers and then systematically communicate with them in order to convert them from potential customers to customers.
Sales:
Implement sales pitches and support the client in setting his order. Obtain shipping quotes for the client. Communicate obtained product orders to the company's production manager.
Packaging:
Many times our products are very fragile. The sales assistant will learn to assist in and supervise the professional packing of our products.
Shipping:
Support the client in setting up shipping logistics and assist in those logistics.
Personal skills required:
Friendly attitude / conflict resolution:
The sales assistant must show the capacity for building friendly relationships with our clients and be able to maintain a friendly attitude even if the client is unhappy with the service or the products.
Proactive:
The sales assistant must show a proactive attitude supporting clients in solving problems.
Teamwork:
the sales and marketing assistant works in a team with the sales manager, the accounting department and the production manager.
Responsibility:
The sales assistant is fully responsible for the successful sale to his clients.
Professional skills required
Knowledge:
The sales assistant will be fully trained about all aspects of quality and production of pour products.
However we expect the sales assistant to engage in a constant process of learning in order to stay updated about all company aspects being of interest for the client.
Communication:
Advanced polite communication skills and sales experience
Emotional and cultural intelligence:
Capacity to communicate successfully with clients from different cultures as well as handling critical situations.
Problem solving:
Capacity to find a creative solution for the problems of the client by leading a consultation process with the other departments and involved managers of our company.
Analytical skills:
Identify client prospects, collect information about their businesses and analyze those data in order to design individual sales strategies.
Stress Management:
Capacity to manage stressful situations with clients as well as time sensitive production and sales processes.
Reliability:
Being able to follow thru with a pre-designed step-by-step sales process and being able to keep set goals.
Attention to details.
Punctuality and time management
Language skills required:
Advanced English in writing and speaking
Career opportunity:
Possibility to become a marketing and sales manager, responsible for bigger accounts.
