Our client is a leading offshore wind developer in the Asia Pacific region. Looking for a Engineering Manger to join their team in the Taipei office.

Goal:

In collaboration with the project management team, package managers, technical leads,and other leads, identify required resources to carry the engineering work.
Ensure that the team's requirements and specifications meet industry standards while being

forward thinking and innovative.

Participate in project team meetings, due diligence review and cross discipline cooperation.

Key Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the project management team, develop and maintain a design process

and guidelines for the offshore engineers.

Plan and coordinate the execution of the engineering work for the detailed design review

for the project.

Coordinate support to the contracting and procurement team in the technical aspects of

negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, technical documents or technical and

financial proposals.

Lead engineering assurance, including presenting to shareholder assurance teams, clients,

and third-party reviewers on project progress and ahead of decision gates.

Support collation of relevant cost inputs for technical elements of the project (e.g. CAPEX

and OPEX).

Ensure design integrity, compliance, and technical risk management in line with applicable

regulations.

In early phase projects, lead the definition of scope of technical requirements and strategy

for effective data acquisition, analysis and evaluation to maximum effect within budget and

resource constraints, including oversight of technical LCOE & innovation measures.

Responsibility for definition, optimisation, and integration of the project design with due

regard to the project commercial drivers, schedule and budget; Technical sign-off of critical

project technical decisions, work packages and contract stimulate continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
