We are looking for a Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales representative within Peru based in Lima.

The Systems Engineer's team is responsible for supporting the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

Responsibilities:

Presales assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
Coordinate and run demo labs or proofsofconcept required by customers.
Perform demos, webinars, and talks to partners, customers, and prospects for delivering Fortinet's cybersecurity message.
Understand the needs and requirements of customers to deliver highlevel designs and architectures.
Create/Modify/Translate technical documentation related to Fortinet products.
Give proper followup to key projects and promptly report any deviation or potential issue, so the sales counterpart can be aware and proactively work on it.
Support educational efforts (both inclassroom and remote) targeted to keep a high degree of knowledge about Fortinet's solutions, to the customers.
Participate in product development initiatives like beta tests, product GUI translations to Spanish, new feature requests, engineering feedback, etc.
Postsales be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customers' technical issues.
Provide assistance to identified customers with postsales training.

Key Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
SALES: Typically requires 5 8 years of field sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to understand, deploy, and operate a range of cybersecurity tools.
Strong presentation skills.
Experience working with ISP/Telcos solutions.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies: IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
Experience in technical/presales supports as a sales or systems engineer.
Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and internet services.
Strong understanding of encryption and authentication technologies required
Fluent in English.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Technical certifications from organizations such as ISC2, CompTIA, SANS, Fortinet, and ISACA are a plus.
Other certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or cloud technical certification in AWS, Azure, GCP are a plus.
