Job Summary:

As the Flight Controls Development Lead at Professional Drone Solutions, you will take charge of designing and implementing flight control systems for our cutting-edge UAVs.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a small, highly skilled team, leveraging the ArduCopter platform to develop efficient and robust flight control integrations.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our drones achieve exceptional stability, precision, and performance during flight.

This position will be responsible for integrating other microelectronics packages to spec and control camera systems, flight systems, and integration into ProDrones backend software system.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of ProDrones software ingreation and workflow for UAVs, utilizing the ArduCopter platform as a foundation.

Collaborate closely with the hardware developer to select and adjust hardware where necessary.

Work remotely to assist the Flight Ops team in implementing and testing flight control software, focusing on stability, responsiveness, and ease of use under diverse operational conditions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Stay up to date on the latest advancements in UAV flight control technology, integrating relevant improvements into our drone systems.

Work closely with the team to set development milestones and ensure timely delivery of flight control-related projects.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

Previous experience in developing UAV flight control systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


Location:
Remote Development via VideoChat and cooperation with our US team.

Pay:
S/.3, S/.5,500.00 per month


Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• C++: 3 years (preferred)
• Flight Controls/Ardupilot: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

• English at a C level or better (preferred)
