Crew Resources Worldwide is now accepting applications for Rated and Non-rated First Officers for Air Japan (AJX) on the B-787.

AJX operates a fleet of B-787s with routes throughout East and Southeast Asia. This is an all passenger operation. Air Japan pilots commute to and are based in Tokyo, Japan.

Air Japan supports commuting pilots through supplemental pay, company arranged economy tickets on other airlines or business class tickets on ANA operated flights plus two travel days per commuting trip added to a pilot's scheduled days off.

Outlook

Air Japan (AJX), like other Asian carriers, is recovering from the covid shutdowns and the future looks positive.

This is one of the only contract jobs in Asia that offers its First Officers an opportunity to be evaluated for upgrade to Captain.

Over the years the upgrade program has been extremely successful. AJX has been recruiting foreign contract pilots since 2002.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid ICAO State ATPL
• Valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate
• English ICAO Level 4 or higher
• Valid ICAO Jet Aircraft Type Rating with a Command Instrument Rating
• Total Flight Time more than 3,000 hours
• Commercial Jet Time more than 500 hours
• Commercial Jet PIC Time
• Multi-Engine Jet Aircraft experience
• Total PIC more than 250 hours or Total PUS more than 500 hours or Total PIC/PUS 180 hours + Total PIC 70 hours
• Cross Country Time more than 200 hours
• Cross Country PIC/PUSTime more than 100 hours
• Instrument Flight Time more than 75 hours
• Night Flight Time more than 100 hours
