    Your role at Clorox:

    Responsible for supporting the overall forecasting and monthly closing processes with an emphasis on Essbase database processes. In addition, responsible for providing insight to Management on drivers of financial performance as well as leading F&A LATAM initiatives to improve processes and financial controls

    In this role, you will:

    Lead the overall Forecast process.

  • Develop and manage the Forecast Calendar defining key deliverables based on the coordination with H&H group, PSF&A and Treasury teams.
  • Perform planning and forecasting activities, including the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and provide analytical support.
  • Provide Management with clear and accurate reports to understand the forecast assumptions and key drivers for the variances versus previous forecast and previous year, focusing also on ensuring accurate quarterly trends.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the forecast.
  • Work closely with the Cluster F&A teams to identify opportunities and to alert the organization of possible risks.
  • Prepare and submit Forecast Packages to H&H group
  • Responsible for supporting the overall Actual close process within LATAM (from planning to reporting), working closely with the Cluster F&A teams, H&H, Corporate Accounting and Corporate Financial Planning.

  • Provide clear guidelines and collaborate with F&A teams to ensure the due dates are met and the reports are clear and accurate.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities, ensuring that the accounting process is performed in accordance with corporate guidelines and GAAP.
  • Analyze and understand business results and key drivers of variances versus forecast and previous year.
  • Provide Management with clear and accurate reporting and analysis of quarterly business performance, assumptions, risks and opportunities.
  • Provide the quarterly IR Meeting packages, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Oversee Essbase database.

  • Ensure system structure integrity.
  • Analyze and support outline changes requests.
  • Coordinate with EDT, F&A, Corporate Accounting and Corporate Financial Planning teams the proper execution of any outline change
  • Ensure alignment between Essbase and HFM, regarding structure and data consistency.​
  • Provide analysis for LATAM, including by country analysis, gap management, benchmarking within LATAM, SG&A trends and new products performance.

    Responsible for Continued and Future special projects, including among others: ELEVATE

    Support F&A and LATAM organization priorities.

    What we look for:

    Minimum Requirements:

    Years and Type of Experience:

    • 7 – 10 years of Finance, Accounting or related experience

    • Solid SAP or other ERP systems experience

    • Consumer Packaged Goods or Manufacturing industry experience

    • Regional experience preferred.

    • Management reporting experience preferred.

    • Fluent in English

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills

    • Strong ability to prioritize and self manage workload

    • Strong ability to work in a cross functional environment and form solid relationship with other functions

    • Strong ability to multitask

    • Strong financial analysis valuation knowledge combined with strong practical usage of knowledge in real world situations

    • Ability to take ownership of issues and ensure timely resolution

    • Strong ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels

    Education Level/Degree:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

    • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) and/or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred
